Based in Hong Kong, Steve Brown leads ChapmanCG's business across APAC and EMEA, partnering with Boards, CEOs, CHROs and investors across public and private markets on executive search, succession, and board appointments.

Drawing on more than two decades of experience, and having lived and worked across Asia, Europe and the UK, Steve brings a distinctive international perspective on leadership, culture and organisational effectiveness across diverse markets and business environments.

Throughout his career, Steve has specialised in CHRO, senior HR and Corporate Officer searches. Increasingly, his focus has expanded to non-executive director and board appointments, particularly leaders who bring expertise in people, culture, and organisational effectiveness. He has advised multinational corporations, financial institutions, private equity-backed businesses and founder-led organisations on critical leadership decisions and succession matters.

Steve is known for his relationship-driven approach, commercial insight, and commitment to successful outcomes. He is passionate about helping organisations make leadership decisions that create lasting impact, extending beyond appointment to successful integration, leadership transition, and long-term success. Many of the leaders and organisations he works with have remained trusted partners through multiple leadership transitions and career moves.
