Hiro Azuma is a Senior Director at ChapmanCG Japan, specialising in senior-level search across Japan and the Asia Pacific region. With close to 15 years of experience in executive recruitment, he supports organisations across a wide range of industries in appointing leaders critical to business performance and transformation.
Before joining ChapmanCG, Hiro developed a broad and trusted network through both retained and contingent search mandates, working with multinational and domestic organisations. He brings a strong understanding of regional market dynamics and advises clients on aligning leadership capability with business strategy, culture, and long-term organisational objectives.
Having grown up in the United States and built his professional career in Japan, Hiro offers a bicultural perspective that underpins his work. He has a particular interest in supporting the evolution of Japanese hiring and labour practices, and in helping organisations build sustainable, future-ready leadership teams.
