China Head of HR

An interesting opportunity has arisen with our long-term client, which is known for its cutting edge technology and treatment solutions. This organisation is known for empowering its leaders and for its dynamic environment with a notable absence of bureaucracy. On the back of very robust global growth, the company has ambitious and exciting objectives for its China expansion. This position will be based in Guangzhou.

Reporting to the APAC HR VP Head directly, you will head HR for China handling a population of 1500 people and managing a small HR team. Substantial and rapid growth is planned in 2015, and this role will play a key part in the expansion. It is expected that in the early days, you will outsource functions (such as L&D/OD) until individual specialists are identified and hired.

To succeed in this position, you should have strong HR leadership credentials within a fast-paced environment. It is imperative that you are have previous experience business partnering with senior leaders. Robust communication skills and experience working with labour unions is also key along with managing and developing a team of HR professionals.
