Taiwan Head of Human Resources, Taiwan (TW)

Upcoming

The Company

We are partnering with a leading international organisation operating in a highly labour-intensive industrial environment, with approximately 500 employees across Taiwan. The business is continuing to evolve its organisation and people agenda and is looking for a senior HR leader to drive organisational effectiveness, strengthen leadership capability, and support continued business performance.

The Role

The Head of Human Resources, Taiwan is a senior HR leadership position with responsibility for the end-to-end people agenda across the Taiwan business. Reporting to the Cluster Head of HR and working closely with the Taiwan Business Head, the incumbent will act as a trusted advisor to the local leadership team while ensuring alignment with broader regional and global HR priorities. The remit spans organisational effectiveness, talent and leadership development, employee engagement, culture, and broader HR operations. The successful candidate will work closely with regional Centres of Excellence and shared services teams to ensure effective HR delivery while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring the ability to move comfortably between strategic priorities and day-to-day business needs, with a clear focus on translating people strategy into tangible business outcomes.

The Individual

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and commercially minded HR leader with at least 15 years of progressive HR experience, ideally gained within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or similarly complex environments. They will bring a strong track record in leading organisational change, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and building high-performance cultures. The successful candidate will be commercially astute, culturally agile, and credible with senior business leaders, with the ability to influence effectively while remaining close to the operation. Strong leadership capability, business insight, and a genuine passion for delivering meaningful people outcomes will be essential. The role will suit an HR leader who can operate strategically while also demonstrating the hands-on execution required in a complex local business.

Potential Upsides

A highly visible HR leadership role with significant influence over the people agenda for a sizeable Taiwan operation. The opportunity to partner directly with senior business leadership while shaping organisational effectiveness, culture, talent, and leadership capability.

Potential Challenges

Requires balancing market business priorities with regional and global HR expectations. The successful candidate will need to navigate a complex stakeholder environment while maintaining strong operational discipline and delivering meaningful change across the organisation.
