Group Leadership Development & Learning Lead, Hong Kong (HK)
Interviewing
The Company
We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation with a strong presence in Hong Kong and across the region. The business has accelerated its AI agenda and is investing significantly in leadership capability to prepare executives for the future of work. We are supporting them in the confidential appointment of a Group Leadership Development & Learning Lead, based in Hong Kong. They are open to relocating strong international talent.
The Role
This high-impact role focuses on designing leadership development and enterprise capability-building initiatives for senior leaders across the organisation. Working closely with business and executive leaders, the Group Leadership Development & Learning Lead will shape strategic learning priorities, develop bespoke leadership experiences, and drive AI, digital and future-skills capability building. A core mandate is preparing leaders for AI adoption—helping them understand how AI can enhance decision-making, innovation, operating models and organisational effectiveness—and translating emerging technology into meaningful leadership and business outcomes rather than owning technical delivery.
The Individual
You are a strategic leadership development expert with strong experience in capability building and a solid understanding of AI and digital transformation. You bring a track record in executive development, strategic learning, capability building or AI upskilling initiatives, and can translate emerging technologies into leadership and business outcomes without needing to be a technical specialist. Credible with senior executives, commercially minded and energised by building readiness for the future of work, you combine strategic thinking with the ability to design and deliver high-impact learning experiences at scale.
Potential Upsides
This is a high visibility position with group executive leadership on a strategic AI and leadership agenda backed by significant organisational investment. A great opportunity to shape enterprise-wide leadership capability from Hong Kong, with openness to relocating international talent.
Potential Challenges
Influencing senior leaders at different stages of AI readiness will require strong change leadership alongside learning design. Balancing strategic programme design with hands-on delivery in a complex financial services environment will demand both pace and judgment.
