The Role

This is a key leadership role within Talent Acquisition, responsible for leading end-to-end hiring for engineering and corporate functions across the Group. The incumbent will manage a team of 3 to 4 Talent Acquisition professionals, driving recruitment strategy, delivery and continuous improvement to meet business priorities in a dynamic energy sector environment. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, the role will partner closely with business leaders and HR stakeholders to ensure high-quality, timely hiring outcomes while enhancing the candidate experience and building a strong talent pipeline. A hands-on leader is required who can balance team leadership, stakeholder management and operational excellence in supporting both technical engineering roles and corporate functions.

The Individual

The ideal candidate is an experienced Talent Acquisition professional with a strong track record of leading recruitment teams and delivering specialised hiring in complex, matrixed organisations. Experience covering engineering/technical and corporate functions is highly desirable, ideally within utilities, energy, infrastructure or related industrial sectors in Hong Kong or Asia. They should be commercially minded, with strong knowledge of the Hong Kong employment market and best-in-class recruitment practices. The role requires a hands-on, self-sufficient individual who can operate independently, develop their team, manage competing priorities with confidence, and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
