Senior Legal Entity Controller, Singapore (SG)

Our client is a global financial services company operating across the regions. They are rapidly scaling their operations and expanding their footprint across markets. We are helping them to appoint a Senior Legal Entity Controller.

The Senior Legal Entity Controller will strengthen controls and drive accuracy across the fast-growing global footprint of the organisation. The role will lead month-end reviews and group consolidations, validate overseas bookkeepers’ reporting packs, and the organisation's AP/AR and GL controls. The position will also oversee payments approval, guide stakeholders on charge codes and invoicing, and support transfer-pricing discussions with external advisors — all with a pragmatic focus on clean, auditable records. The role will manage regulatory, tax and audit deliverables for licensed entities, ensuring timely corporate and indirect tax filings (VAT/GST/SST) and seamless statutory audit execution. It will also steer group cash-flow planning and intercompany funding arrangements. We’re looking for a technically strong, commercially minded controller who brings consolidation expertise, excellent stakeholder influence, and a drive to streamline processes. The organisation is full of energy and would suit someone with entrepreneurial spirit. It will be a lean team, so there will be a combination of both strategic and hands-on responsibilities.

You’ll bring at least 15 years’ relevant experience ideally within financial services, and a proven track record of success. Experience navigating complex, highly matrixed organisations and strong commercial acumen are essential.
