The Role
This role reports to the CHRO and can be done remotely, however the individual must be based in the US Southeast or Midwest and within reach of a major airport. This is a true global business partnering opportunity, responsible for running HR for a pivotal division of the business globally; plus the corporate functions. The position manages a team. This position offers a significant element of building, a large Talent agenda, and a mission to drive HR and business transformation. It drives organizational effectiveness, builds leadership capability, and ensures strong operational execution of core HR processes to enable sustainable business growth. Enhancing collaboration with CoEs and strengthening HR Operations are currently heavy areas of focus for the HR leadership. This is a hands-on role which interacts closely with senior stakeholders and employees of all levels.
The Individual
A background in life sciences or agriculture will be necessary, including recent experience in FDA regulated environments. The ideal candidate would have worked closely with R&D teams and should be naturally curious and enjoy dealing with scientific and highly educated employee groups. They should be adept at managing senior stakeholder relationships. International/global exposure working cross-culturally is a ‘must have’. Also needed will be recent experience driving transformation, change, and innovation on a global level. While this position requires exceptional HR partnering expertise, depth in Talent would be helpful especially in organization effectiveness, succession planning, leadership development, coaching. We are seeking a ‘player/coach’ who is hands-on and adept at executing through others.
