The Role

The future Head of Human Resources leads an HR team and is responsible for a variety of HR topics for the major manufacturing plant as well as European projects. The day-to-day topics include acting as a trusted HR Business Partner to Plant and Business leadership, advising on organisational planning, workforce strategy, and execution of business initiatives. Managing plant labour relations and fostering a collaborative working environment. Driving the execution of talent management initiatives, including recruitment, performance reviews, succession planning, and leadership development. Overseeing compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, internal equity, and employee engagement. Championing a culture of safety, well-being, and continuous improvement through HR programs aligned with Lean Manufacturing principles. As well as promoting employee engagement and internal communications to foster a positive and inclusive workplace climate.

The Individual

The individual should show progressive, comprehensive HR experience, including several years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment. They will have proven experience in labour relations and works council negotiations, with strong knowledge of local labor laws and compliance requirements. Showcasing broad expertise across HR functions including talent management, performance development, compensation, and organisational planning as well as strong leadership, coaching, and change management skills with a collaborative and results- driven mindset. They must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities across all organisational levels with fluency in English and German; additional language skills are a plus and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
