The Role
This is the Greater China HR Vice President role, a senior strategic position with high visibility across both global and regional leadership. The position holds a dual reporting line: a direct report to the Greater China President based in Shanghai and a functional report to the Global CHRO. It carries full responsibility for leading the market HR leadership team, as well as the Centres of Excellence and Shared Services Centre functions within Mainland China. The position is deeply integrated with the business, offering significant influence and proximity to key decision-makers.
The Individual
We are seeking a seasoned HR leader with deep, hands-on expertise in the Greater China region, encompassing a nuanced understanding of the distinct yet interconnected markets of Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The ideal candidate must possess solid experience in retail operations and a proven ability to architect and execute a robust succession strategy, particularly in an environment that has historically relied on external hiring.
