This is a broad talent role which can be based in one of several US locations. It reports to the Chief People Officer and encompasses the full spectrum of Talent including Talent Management and Acquisition, Learning and Development, OD, and Strategic Workforce Planning. There is a significant element of building as well as change and transformation. This is a hands-on role which manages a small, centralized team and closely interacts with senior stakeholders and employees of all levels.
This position requires a ‘player/coach’ who is hands-on and adept at executing through others – either their own team or other HR team members who do not report directly to them. A background in Life Sciences will be necessary, including recent experience in FDA regulated environments. International/global exposure and expertise working cross-culturally is a ‘must have,’ as is previous experience in both Talent and HR Business Partnering. We are looking for strong capabilities in all aspects of talent including OD, coaching, performance management, succession planning and L&D. Also needed will be recent experience driving transformation, change and innovation on a global level. The ideal candidate would have worked closely with R&D teams and should be someone who enjoys dealing with scientific employee groups. While there is team building and mentorship involved, we are also looking for an action-oriented coach and builder who can roll up their sleeves and lead by example.
