Commercial HRBP Head, Mumbai (IN)

This is a senior People Business Partner role supporting the Commercial function in India. The Commercial HRBP Head works closely with the country leadership team and local business leaders, acting as a strategic advisor and partner. Key responsibilities include driving the commercial people strategy, supporting talent acquisition and management, leading people development initiatives, managing employee relations, and promoting culture and DEI. The role reports to the India People Director and offers significant exposure to both local and global stakeholders.

We are seeking an HR professional with over 15+ years’ experience in generalist HR roles, ideally with exposure to commercial sales HR and union management. The individual will have strong communication and influencing skills, the proven ability to work in a matrix environment, and competence in managing complex employee relations. A Master’s degree in Business Administration with HR/IR specialisation is required. Fluency in English is essential. The ideal individual will be outcome focused, collaborative, and able to balance strategic thinking with hands on delivery.
