This is a key leadership role within the global People function, responsible for leading HR Operations across multiple jurisdictions, driving operational excellence, and delivering strategic transformation initiatives that improve service delivery, compliance, and organisational effectiveness.
The Role
The Global HR Operations Director is a senior HR Operations leadership role that will lead the delivery of global HR operations across a complex international organisation, supporting employees and leaders across multiple regions and jurisdictions. The role will be responsible for shaping and executing the global HR Operations strategy, ensuring the delivery of efficient, scalable, and compliant people processes across the employee lifecycle. Key areas of focus include HR service delivery, governance and compliance, HR systems, process optimisation, payroll oversight, vendor management, and continuous improvement. The position will play a critical role in driving operational transformation, enhancing the employee experience, and building a high-performing HR Operations function capable of supporting future organisational growth. Working closely with senior HR leaders, Centres of Expertise, Finance, Legal, Technology, and business stakeholders, the role will ensure HR operations are aligned to broader organisational objectives while maintaining strong governance and operational excellence.
The Individual
We are seeking an experienced HR Operations leader with a strong track record of leading global HR service delivery within complex, international organisations. The successful individual will bring expertise across HR operations, governance, compliance, payroll oversight, HR technology, and process optimisation, alongside experience delivering large-scale transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. Operating at both a strategic and hands-on level, they will be comfortable navigating complexity, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving change across multiple geographies and cultures. They will possess strong leadership capabilities, with experience building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams while maintaining a relentless focus on operational excellence and employee experience. The ideal individual will be commercially minded, data-driven, and pragmatic in their approach, with the ability to balance long-term strategic priorities with day-to-day operational demands. Experience working within a regulated, international environment and leading operations across multiple jurisdictions will be highly valued. Fluency in English is essential, and occasional international travel may be required.
