Our client is a global industrial leader with a significant footprint across major markets in Asia Pacific. Korea represents a key strategic hub with substantial growth potential. We are partnering with them to appoint a Korea Head of HR.
The Role
The Korea Head of Human Resources will serve as the trusted strategic business partner to the General Manager, providing HR leadership across the Korean market. The position will own the full HR strategy and its execution, supported by matrixed Centres of Excellence (COE).
The mandate spans leadership capability building, talent pipeline development, organisational transformation, workforce planning, culture initiatives, and complex labour relations. This high-visibility role blends genuine strategic influence with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
The Individual
You are a senior HR leader with significant experience in US multinationals and deep expertise in the Korean labour and regulatory environment. You have a proven track record as a trusted advisor to senior Korea-based leadership teams. You combine outstanding business acumen with the ability to challenge and coach executives constructively in a direct, fast-moving style. Strategic yet hands-on, you excel in ambiguity, rapid transformation, change management, and matrixed stakeholder leadership.
