The Western Hub, headquartered in Düsseldorf, plays a central role in supporting retail and office operations across several European markets, bringing together diverse teams and capabilities to drive performance and collaboration across the region. As part of this evolution, the organisation is now seeking a VP, HR West Region to be based in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The Role
Reporting to the MD Germany and CHRO (EMEA), the VP HR West Region, will play a key role in translating global people strategies into effective regional execution. Acting as the primary HR partner to senior business leadership, the role will support strategic decision-making, organisational transformation, and talent initiatives across the Western European hub. Working within a complex, matrixed organisation, the individual will partner closely with business leaders and HR Centres of Excellence to deliver people strategies that support commercial performance, organisational effectiveness, and long-term capability development. This includes leading workforce planning, talent and succession strategies, and organisational design initiatives aligned with the region’s growth agenda. The role will also provide on-the-ground HR leadership for the hub headquarters in Düsseldorf, supporting a diverse employee population while ensuring alignment with global policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices. By combining strategic insight with operational oversight, the position will help strengthen leadership capability, employee engagement, and organisational performance across multiple European markets.
The Individual
You will bring significant HR leadership experience within international and matrixed organisations, with a strong track record of partnering with senior leaders to drive people strategy, organisational effectiveness, and transformation initiatives. Relevant industry experience within fashion, retail, consumer, or similarly fast-paced, brand-driven environments will be particularly important, enabling you to understand the commercial dynamics and operational realities of the sector. You combine strategic thinking with strong commercial understanding and are able to translate business priorities into impactful people solutions. With the credibility to influence senior stakeholders, you are comfortable navigating complexity and aligning global HR frameworks with regional and local business needs. Resilient and adaptable, you thrive in dynamic and evolving environments where organisational change and transformation are ongoing. Your collaborative leadership style and ability to build trusted relationships across functions and geographies will enable you to drive meaningful impact while supporting the continued growth and performance of the region.
