The Role

The Global Head of Talent, is a strategically critical role responsible for shaping and executing the group’s global talent strategy, with initiatives originating in China and expanding across all international markets. The role encompasses Talent Management, including the design and implementation of robust succession planning, the development of sustainable leadership pipelines, and the creation of targeted programs to accelerate the growth of high-potential employees and ensure a strong bench of future leaders. It also leads Learning & Development, focusing on strategic workforce upskilling to meet evolving business needs, designing and delivering leadership programs that strengthen management capabilities, and establishing competency frameworks to define and measure critical skills across the organization. In addition, the role oversees Training Delivery, ensuring the effective global rollout of L&D programs by adapting content for local relevance and driving flawless execution to deliver consistent quality and measurable impact across diverse regions.

The Individual

This senior leadership role requires a strategic mindset, exceptional cross-cultural communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels in order to build a high performing, globally aligned talent ecosystem. The role calls for a leader who can think globally while executing locally, balancing long-term vision with pragmatic delivery across diverse markets. The ideal candidate will bring end-to-end talent leadership, with hands-on experience that spans strategy and execution across talent management, learning and development, and training. A strong background in multinational corporations, ideally with regional or global responsibilities across APAC, is critical. Experience in the manufacturing sector is also highly valued, as it provides direct familiarity with the complex talent challenges and dynamics of industrial environments. Equally important is the ability to navigate and thrive within the culture of a Chinese multinational, where the pace is fast, the environment entrepreneurial, and the ambition high.
