The HRBP/Country Lead will partner closely with the local Japan GM and R&D heads, ensuring HR initiatives are delivered and in line with the business strategy for Japan. The position will be a key member of the local senior management team and expected to implement best practices while managing day to day HR operations and people processes. As a representative of the regional and global HR teams, the HRBP/Country Leader will by key in fostering a values-based work environment and culture and report to the regional lead based in Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to be plugged in very closely on a regional level, while also having direct impact on the local business strategy and direction.
The individual will have very strong communication skills backed by experience as an HRBP in a multi-national/matrix style organisation. Someone unafraid of working hands-on and very closely with the business is necessary. Knowledge or experience of the life science industry would be of particular benefit.
