Our client is a global leader within the industrial and consumer solutions sector, operating at significant scale following a recent multibillion dollar acquisition that has created one of the largest players in its field. With a workforce of over 70,000 employees across 140 countries, the organisation is focused on integration, capability building, and unlocking new avenues of growth. It brings together deep technical expertise, strong commercial acumen, and a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer partnership. Guided by a performance-driven and collaborative ethos, the company is investing in talent, culture, and digital transformation to ensure it remains a trusted partner to its customers and a compelling employer of choice. This newly created Human Resources Director position will support three core functional areas; Sales, R&D, and Procurement - partnering closely with senior leadership to shape people strategy, build organisational capability, and drive cultural alignment across EMEA.
The Human Resources Director, EMEA will act as the strategic HR Business Partner to Sales, R&D, and Procurement leaders, shaping and executing integrated people strategies across a diverse population of around 500 employees. It will lead HR input into commercial transformation initiatives, including salesforce effectiveness, organisation design, and incentive planning, while fostering a stronger “hunting” mindset to expand into new customer segments. A significant part of the remit will be to build and implement workforce planning and succession strategies, particularly within R&D where capability building and knowledge transfer are critical. The position will also partner with Procurement to support organisation design, workflow transformation, and future skills development, while aligning R&D and Marketing to strengthen product innovation and commercialisation. Beyond this, it will play a key role in driving employee engagement and cultural integration in a fast paced, post-merger environment, and contribute to the continued rollout of the organisation’s evolving HR operating model and technology platforms.
We are seeking an experienced HR leader with a track record in multinational environments. You will have proven experience partnering with commercial functions, particularly in areas such as sales organisation design, go-to-market strategies, and incentive frameworks. Prior exposure to complex matrix organisations is important, with experience in FMCG, industrials, or similarly complex sectors being desirable but not essential. Strong expertise in change management, capability development, and restructuring within dynamic or high growth contexts will be critical. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills, acting as a sparring partner and trusted advisor to senior commercial leaders. High levels of emotional intelligence and resilience are essential, as is the ability to navigate ambiguity, shifting structures, and performance pressures.
