We are working with a private company currently in startup mode. Although it is a startup, the company has deep ties to resource-rich partners which will be leveraged as assets as this organization rapidly scales up. The CEO of the business is an experienced entrepreneur looking to build a world class growth platform for the future, within a highly competitive consumer category.
This role is upcoming, with the search likely to commence late June/early July. The location of the position is flexible within the United States, with preference for an individual in Pacific or Mountain time. However, any US time zone can be accommodated for an outstanding fit. This company will be seeking a fractional Head of HR for a few months (exact timeframe and number of days TBC). If the fit proves to be good, it is possible that the person in this role could be converted to permanent if desired by both sides. At this stage, we are seeking expressions of interest from potential candidates who fit the criteria below. In a nutshell, this role requires the maturity and stature to work at a C-suite level, building and driving the People strategy and assisting with broader business plans. In tandem, this hands-on position also requires putting HR/People building blocks in place. These elements include setup of a PEO and an HR system, establishing basic HR operations and processes, creating compensation and benefits plans, hiring, writing an employee handbook, etc. Necessary for this role is previous experience both building and leading an HR function in a startup environment AND previous deep experience working in a world-class environment within the US beverages industry.
