The Role

The Human Resources Vice President plays a key leadership role within the China leadership community, serving as a strategic partner to drive the company’s growth agenda. This role is responsible for defining and executing the people strategy and workforce planning aligned with business priorities. A critical part of the mandate includes building organisational capabilities, shaping a high-performance culture, and enabling talent development across all levels. The HRVP will lead a sizable, end-to-end HR team across the country, ensuring operational excellence while driving strategic HR initiatives that support both business needs and employee engagement.

The Individual

We are looking for a mature HR leader with a deep understanding of the China market and strong insights into the consumer and retail sectors. The ideal candidate brings strategic thinking and the ability to navigate and execute HR strategy in a highly matrixed organisation. They must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders at both global and local levels. The right candidate will be agile, commercially aware, and adept at driving people strategies that align with business goals while fostering a high-performance, people-centric culture.
