With intricate cross-functional relationships, decentralised decision-making, and a complex supply chain, the company thrives on innovation, efficiency, and adaptability. A highly matrixed organisation with global market reach, they are looking for a new General Manager, Global Benefits to join their Rewards team, to help transform their benefits offering to remain at the forefront of talent attraction and retention.

The Role

Reporting into the Global Head of Rewards, this role is responsible for designing and shaping a competitive global benefits strategy for the entire organisation, including driving development, management and recognition of the value that global benefits provide to employees. As the organisation goes through significant transformation, the SVP Global Benefits will be helping to modernise and elevate all benefits offerings, moving from a transactional function to a highly progressive model. This will include transforming and harmonising the defined benefits pension schemes and collective bargaining agreements around the world.

The Individual

The successful Individual will have at least 10 years of global benefits experience in a large multinational organisation, ideally within manufacturing or heavy industry environments. Proven expertise in leading benefits administration transformation, compliance, and vendor management will be critical to creating competitive and sustainable benefits offerings for a diverse workforce. An ability to develop credibility with senior leadership and internal stakeholders is key, as is experience in managing complex collective bargaining agreements and DB pension relationships. Additional languages are an advantage.
