The position reports to the Global Head of HR for the specific business unit and is responsible for wholistic Talent and Development across all levels across a circa 30,000 employee base. The Global Head of Talent has the fantastic challenge of bringing everyone amongst the global communities together to support a common purpose as well as develop shared standards of talent excellence. It is an Individual contribution role with a large number of stakeholders whereby extensive influencing and indirect leadership will be critical. The role will require excellent project management and people skills and the ability to work within a multicultural and rapidly changing and growing environment where building a further aligned community of talent professionals amongst the various businesses globally will be key. Location Paris, approx. 1 hour south of Central Paris.
The individual we are seeking will have a strong track record of success in Talent Management and Development on an international basis preferably having lived and worked across more than one country but certainly having held international roles. Strong change or transformation acumen will be important, as will experience in driving innovation. We are looking for an expert who is pragmatic and can apply ‘commonsense’ as opposed to heavy theory. Most importantly is someone that is able to foster collaboration and build synergies as a trusted advisor and business consultant, ideally having held roles as a HRBP to supplement your ability to engage and build engagement within the business. Importantly you will have worked in the highly matrixed environment in an organisation that has had to transform its business model and approach to talent.
