Our client is a leading global organisation in the consumer goods sector, headquartered in the Netherlands. The company is currently shifting toward globally integrated functions, marking a strategic evolution in how it collaborates across markets. In parallel, the company is addressing the challenges of its cooperative structure, accelerating progress on a global sustainability agenda, and driving enterprise-wide transformation — including the implementation of a new HR Operating Model. To support this change, the company is now seeking an HR Director for Global Functions, Business and Digital Solutions, to be based near Utrecht, Netherlands.
Reporting into the CHRO, the HR Director will play a key role in driving the people agenda across all corporate functions while shaping the future operating model of the newly evolving Business and Digital Services organization. Acting as a strategic advisor and change enabler to senior leadership, the individual will partner closely with global functional leads to align talent priorities with business objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and support complex transformation initiatives. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence organisational design, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and help shape a future-proof, agile structure in a dynamic, international environment.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into impactful people strategies, while also being hands-on in execution. You will bring at least 15 years of progressive HR experience with a strong foundation in strategic HR, organisational design, and change management. You should have a proven track record of operating in complex, global environments and leading large-scale transformation initiatives with resilience, clarity, and empathy. You will be confident influencing senior leaders, leveraging data to drive decisions, and navigating across diverse cultures with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. A collaborative leadership style, coupled with a global mindset and a passion for developing others, will be essential to succeed in this role. A university degree is required.
