Argentina

The Company

We are representing a major player in the global resources sector, known for its strong operational footprint and commitment to excellence in complex industrial environments. The organization is undergoing continued transformation, with a focus on modernizing its people agenda while maintaining operational integrity across its global operations. With a workforce numbering in the thousands, and a significant presence across the Americas, the company remains committed to building a culture rooted in safety, transparency, and high performance.

The Role

This is a newly created HR Director opportunity based in Northern Argentina, offering a broad and strategic generalist remit in a complex, industrial setting. You’ll lead the HR agenda across the Americas region in multiple pillars including talent management, rewards, performance, and employee engagement—while also bringing expertise in employee and industrial relations to support a highly regulated, unionized environment. The role will serve as a trusted business partner to site and functional leadership, helping to shape workforce strategies aligned with both global frameworks and local dynamics. You’ll collaborate with HR peers, legal, operations, and union representatives to enable smooth labor practices, talent continuity, and cultural alignment during a time of ongoing transformation. This position reports to a regional HR leader and requires someone who can operate autonomously while building strong partnerships across corporate and site-based teams. It’s an ideal role for a well-rounded HR leader with strong business acumen and a background in industrially complex, multinational environments.

The Individual

We are seeking an experienced HR or ER professional with a strong background in unionized, industrially complex environments—such as mining, oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, transportation, or construction. Candidates with a broader HR background but strong depth in ER/IR are also encouraged to apply. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential, along with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and the ability to build trust with operational teams and external stakeholders alike. Experience navigating labor negotiations, compliance frameworks, and enterprise agreements is critical. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in dynamic, high-impact settings and is eager to shape ER strategy on the ground.
