Our client is a global market leader in process automation solutions for mission-critical industries, with 10,000 employees and operations across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The organisation is in a phase of continued international transformation and development, with a strong focus on harmonisation, compliance, and delivering sustainable people practices that support business growth. As part of this journey, the company is enhancing its global HR function and benefits framework to ensure alignment, competitiveness, and resilience in a rapidly changing environment. To support this agenda, the company is now seeking a Global Benefits Manager to be based in the Netherlands.
Reporting into the Global Head of Rewards and Mobility, the Global Benefits Manager will take ownership of building and leading the company’s first dedicated global benefits function. This newly created position represents a greenfield opportunity to define the benefits philosophy, governance framework, and strategy at a truly international scale. Acting as a subject-matter expert and strategic advisor, the role will partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, Risk Management, and country leadership teams to harmonise existing programs, capture data, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions. A key element of the position will be driving the alignment and integration of insured benefits programs, including large-scale projects involving works councils, while working with brokerage partners to deliver cost efficiencies and harmonisation. With no existing governance model in place, the role requires a high level of influence, innovation, and resilience to shift market practices and embed sustainable, competitive solutions. This is a highly visible and impactful role, offering the opportunity to establish a global framework from the ground up, shape benefits delivery across all regions, and ensure that employee programs are both strategically aligned and operationally robust in a complex and rapidly evolving environment.
You will bring deep expertise in global benefits management, ideally gained in complex international organisations. You have a proven ability to design and implement harmonised strategies that are both competitive and sustainable. You combine strategic vision with practical execution, able to influence senior stakeholders, establish governance where none exists, and partner with brokers to deliver efficiencies. Strong analytical and communication skills will enable you to translate data into clear insights and engage internal stakeholders and leadership. Resilient and adaptable, you are comfortable navigating sensitive projects such as insured benefits harmonisation with works councils, while balancing global consistency with local relevance. A collaborative style and the ability to drive impact in a greenfield environment will be key to success in this role.
