Our client is a global manufacturing company with a deep history in R&D. With global expansion the firm is expanding in the US, Europe and the Middle East. Specific international experience relevant to our clients industry focus and a willingness to travel at least 50% from your base in Dubai will be critical.
The new CHRO will be instrumental in establishing a stronger HR function in the organisation, along with active involvement in organic growth and M&A particularly in Europe and the US working closely with a dynamic CEO. There is a solid foundation of operational efficiency in the company today but limited understanding of what makes a world class agile HR function, the CHRO will be given freedom to design and build what they feel is needed, which includes support to shape the HR team. A key element of this role will be travel and although the position is based in Dubai to co-locate with other senior members of the management team, at least 50% of the time the role will require travel to the US, Europe and in Asia.
You will have led HR in a global business unit or have been the CHRO of an organisation that has its heart in manufacturing. You will have overseen operations in the US and Europe with scale (10,000+ employees) and be used to interacting with a dynamic leadership team and driving growth, efficiency and strategy beyond your HR specialisation. This is a role for a leader who wants to build a business and partner with the CEO closely.
