Our client is a global industrial technology organisation with more than 3,000 employees and production sites across Europe, Asia, North America, and South America. The company is currently focused on harmonisation, cultural alignment, and driving transformation in a post-venture acquisition environment, marking an important phase in its turnaround and growth strategy. At the same time, it is undertaking significant organisational change and going through the integration of global HR processes. To support this agenda, the company is now seeking a Global HR Lead to be based in Nuremberg, Germany.
Reporting into the Executive Leadership Team, the Global HR Lead will play a pivotal role in driving the people agenda across all locations while shaping the future operating model of the organisation. Acting as a strategic advisor and change enabler to senior leadership, the position will partner closely with business leaders to align talent priorities with transformation goals, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure continuity in a complex, post-acquisition environment. The role involves leading a global HR team, harmonising processes and systems across geographies, and ensuring compliance with local regulations while respecting cultural nuances. A key element will be managing employee relations in Germany, including constructive engagement with Works Councils, to support organisational change and maintain trust. This is a highly visible position with the opportunity to influence organisational design, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and champion employee engagement and resilience during a period of significant change.
You will bring extensive experience in senior HR leadership, ideally gained in complex, international organisations undergoing transformation. With a strong foundation in organisational design, change management, and talent strategy, you will have a proven track record of guiding large-scale integration and harmonisation initiatives with resilience and clarity. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, confidently influencing senior leaders, leveraging data to inform decisions, and navigating diverse cultural contexts with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Given the company’s ongoing harmonisation and transformation, you must be highly versatile and comfortable adapting to evolving team structures, shifting responsibilities, and dynamic organisational needs. Strength in employee relations will be critical, including the ability to work effectively with employee representatives and manage sensitive workforce matters with empathy and compliance. In addition, you should bring solid experience engaging with blue-collar populations, fostering trust, inclusion, and resilience in operational environments. Success in this role will require the ability to balance global consistency with respect for local practices and nuances. A collaborative leadership style, a global perspective, and a passion for developing teams will be essential to thrive in this role.
