The Head of Executive Compensation role offers a unique opportunity to shape all aspects of executive compensation. The individual will report directly to the SVP, Total Rewards. This role will be responsible for the company’s executive pay strategy, overseeing compensation for senior leaders and C-suite executives. This position will manage the annual compensation committee work plan, handle external governance and reporting, including annual proxy statement filings, and support the Head of Total Rewards in Board Compensation Committee meetings. This role demands superior stakeholder management and is pivotal in driving the organization’s growth and success, offering the chance to make a significant impact at a crucial stage of the company’s expansion.
Qualified individuals will have deep experience in executive compensation. They will be strong in the fundamentals of compensation, especially compensation strategy and design, governance and compliance, performance management, equity, long-term incentives, benchmarking, financial planning and budgeting. Candidates must demonstrate a robust knowledge of compensation practices and trends in both the US market and globally, with a thorough understanding of market practices, rules, and regulations. Current knowledge of regulatory compliance rules and regulations is crucial. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who possesses flawless communication and polished presentation skills, adept at effectively communicating complex data and reports to senior stakeholders. This individual will use a data-driven approach with strong reporting skills to support decision-making. They will also collaborate effectively with finance, and legal teams, understanding pay design implications on accounting and finance.
