To support this vision, it is now seeking a Head of Talent and Search Lead to shape an integrated approach to executive talent management and recruitment. The role is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The Role

Reporting to the Global Head of People Strategy, the Head of Talent and Search Lead will shape and drive the executive talent and succession agenda for the organisation’s most senior leadership population. Combining strategic design with hands-on delivery, the role will oversee both internal talent pipelines and external executive recruitment to ensure future-ready succession and leadership continuity. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders - including ExCo and enterprise leadership - the position will lead the development of an integrated talent strategy, bringing together succession planning, leadership assessment, workforce planning and executive search. It will oversee a globally dispersed team, building capability, implementing best-practice methodologies, and aligning talent initiatives with wider business priorities. This is a high-impact leadership role with a mandate to design a best-in-class function, influence top-level decision-making, and shape the future leadership landscape of a global organisation.

The Individual

You will bring at least 15 years’ experience in senior talent leadership roles within global, matrixed organisations, combining both in-house enterprise talent management and prior experience in external executive search. With a proven ability to operate across internal and external talent markets, you understand how to build pipelines, assess executive potential, and strategically influence succession decisions at the highest levels. A credible and trusted advisor to C-suite and Board stakeholders, you will be comfortable navigating high-stakes discussions and providing insight-led recommendations. You will bring strong business acumen, deep expertise in senior leadership assessment and workforce planning, and familiarity with best practices from both corporate and search firm environments. Collaborative, culturally aware and development-focused, you are adept at leading and upskilling global teams, driving capability and fostering alignment across regions and functions. Resilient and pragmatic, you thrive in fast-paced, transformational settings, balancing long-term vision with disciplined execution to build a sustainable leadership bench for the future.
