The Role
As the country Head of HR, leading the People Team (HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion and Employee Services) this position will drive the People strategy in Japan. The role will act as the primary HR Business Partner for the senior leadership team and partner closely with peers to drive regional best practices and coordinated HR efforts across the APAC region.
The Individual
We are looking for an individual with 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on talent strategy and leadership. You will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams in a high-growth, fast-paced environments. You will possess exceptional business acumen showing a deep understand business operations and how talent strategy drives commercial success. You will be adept at strategic problem-solving showing strong judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to navigate complex business and talent challenges. You will have excellent communication and facilitation skills to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and exchange insights with senior leaders across the globe. You should be comfortable working in ambiguity and a highly matrixed organisation. You must have native level Japanese with strong proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
