The Company

This European Shipping Company has a significant presence in Singapore. Its group headquarters is split between Europe and Singapore. Owing to a transformation in HR, we have been appointed to search for a Head of HR for Singapore. This is an upgraded role and will have key responsibility for the HR operations.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO in Singapore (a long term foreign resident of Asia), you will lead and motivate a team of three. You will work to upgrade the HR capability to provide a more business-aligned approach to HR. This will involve integrating organisational development, talent management, talent acquisition and compensation strategies to provide a more robust HR platform.

The Individual

We are open to relevant HR Leaders, particularly (but not limited to) those who are Asian language speaking. You should be based in Singapore and have an appreciation of what it takes to transform an HR function into a more performance oriented function. You will enjoy the shipping industry, but don’t necessarily have to come from this industry.
