Regional HR Director (406/TCCG)

Location: Singapore
Type: Permanent
Posted: 26.04.10

The Company

This role offers the rare opportunity to join a leading brand name consumer and retail organisation that rarely recruits externally. Owing to a shift in where their Business President is based, a new Regional HR Director position will now be based from Singapore. This US company boasts a staff strength of 12,000 and a long track record in its field.

The Role

Reporting to the Global HR Business Lead (of one of 4 business units) and locally to the Business President, you will take responsibility for 10 countries across Asia Pacific Japan. You will lead a regionally dispersed team of 7 direct reports. You role will be a combination of high level thinking and tactical HR, combined with the mentorship of a high performing team.

The Individual

You will have gained your experience with well-known companies that value HR’s input at the boardroom table. Experience with US companies is desirable, as is significant regional exposure. You should be comfortable working across multiple timezones. This organisation is creative and entrepreneurial – we are looking for someone who thinks outside the box.
