The Company

This European financial services company has 1,000 employees spanning 12 countries in Asia Pacific. Its regional headquarters are based in Hong Kong and this is where the Regional SVP HR and her regional HR leadership sits. Owing to an internal change we are now hiring a VP Talent Development to be based in their Hong Kong office.

The Role

Reporting solid line to the Global VP of Talent Development based in Europe and with a dotted line to the Regional SVP HR based in Hong Kong, you will take primary control of the talent development agenda. This role will focus on leadership development, succession planning, executive coaching and performance management. You will interface with the Regional VP of Learning as well as Country HR Directors on a regular basis.

The Individual

You should currently be based in Hong Kong or be willing to relocate to Hong Kong from other locations in Asia at short notice. You will have a robust background in learning and organisational development, preferably with previous exposure to the financial services industry. You will be excited by the opportunity to shape the Asia Pacific function and be comfortable reporting offshore.
