C&B Director, Asia (1240/GT)

Location: Singapore
Type: Permanent
Posted: 25.02.13

The Company

We are excited to be helping a long term client of The Chapman Consulting Group to hire a new C&B Leader for their Asia business. With just over 2000 employees in Asia and growth likely to be driven by acquisition in 2012, this is a fast-moving company and role. Over 60% of these employees are sales-oriented.

The Role

As the Lead for C&B in Asia, all operational and strategic decisions will be directed by the C&B Director. Reporting directly to the Global Head of C&B based in Europe, the role will sit with the Regional HR team but have the independence to make judgement calls within an international context. This role will be based in Singapore as this is the Regional corporate office for APAC. There are in-country specialists looking at reward and benefits for larger country operations and the C&B Director will be a sole contributor initially.

The Individual

You have led C&B across APAC for a corporate company and have a solid understanding of the region. It is important that you can advise the business heads and HR leaders on best practices, reward strategy and future planning to ensure C&B is delivered as well as possible. You may not be based in Singapore now but would be able to relocate there (and have worked in Asia before). Ideally you will have worked in a creative and sales driven business.
