The Company

Our client is a global leader in equipment and services for rail transport, power and power transmission and it is recognized for innovative, environmentally friendly solutions. With operations in more than 70 countries and over 90,000 employees they have a large presence in China with upwards of 10,000 employees. We are delighted to be helping find a new Head of HR for their China business.

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for the HR function for Greater China which has approx. 10,000 employees. This role will report directly into the Global Head of HR, who is located in Europe. You will be required to partner with the business leaders and both influence and guide at the executive level. Overseeing large scale people operations and working at a regional level will be something that you are comfortable with. You will be given freedom to run the HR function with a supportive business leadership team.

The Individual

You will ideally be located in Beijing or able to relocate easily within China and have a strong HR leadership profile. This is a 10,000 employee business with a large HR team so exposure to similar scale setup is important. Industry experience is not essential however having reported to stakeholders outside Asia will be important. This is a newly created role with a company committed to their people and HR best practice.
