HR Leader, Korea (261/TCCG)

Location: Korea
Type: Permanent
Posted: 24.06.09

The Company

This household name has a large operation in Korea, consisting of more than 1,500 staff. It is part of an international group employing more than 60,000 employees. The Korean operation is 15 years old and has a prominent position in the local market. Internationally the company offers unparalleled career mobility and the opportunity to work in more than 95 countries.

The Role

Owing to the current HR Lead (an expatriate) moving internationally, we are working on ideas to refill this position with an exceptional Korean candidate. This leadership position will run a team of more than 30 HR staff, and sit on the Asia Pacific HR leadership team. The successful candidate will also be involved in regional project work outside Korea, in addition to the domestic role.

The Individual

You will either currently be in a leadership or second-in-charge role with a major multinational corporation in Korea. Alternatively, you may be an international Korean candidate on assignment somewhere around the world and who is looking for the ‘perfect’ opportunity to return home. It is expected that an international career outside of Korea, and potentially outside Asia, would follow after having spent two or three years in this role.
