The Company
We are in a close partnership with a major financial services firm that is further broadening its HR leadership base. Its operations in China are rapidly growing and the HR infrastructure struggles to keep up with this pace. The corporation has a presence in over 100 markets internationally and in 14 countries around Asia.
The Role
Reporting out of China to a combination of Regional and Global HR Business Heads, you will take HR leadership for a key business unit within the organisation. Your role will involve a combination of team leadership of around 6 individuals as well as HR business partnering to the business leadership team and its direct reports. You will also leverage off Centre of Excellence experts to consult on compensation, talent management, systems, expatriate management and diversity issues.
The Individual
We are interested to hear from Chinese nationals who are out around the world on international assignments, either within Asia or in the United States or Europe. You will be seeking to return home in a senior HR position that focuses on the China market, but still affords the opportunity to be part of regional and global HR initiatives. Your career will take you out of China again in the future, and you could expect to move through leadership roles in both the Asia headquarters and ultimately the global headquarters.
